Cream Cheese Ramen
There is such a thing as a noodle emergency — when hunger strikes at an inconvenient hour and the only remedy is a bowl of noodles. For this quick ramen, ditch the soup powder, keep the noodle brick and use cream cheese as the base of a luscious sauce that enrobes each strand.
This is one of our new 20-minute dinners for absolutely exhausted parents who are over it. This recipe from Kevin Pang is as easy as can be. You basically take a package of ramen, boil the noodles and add a little cream cheese and a few other seasonings. The brilliant thing is you can also use Boursin, which adds a lovely herbiness. It’s evocative of cacio e pepe, but without all the effort.
